We’re Shirley and Matt, hosts of spicy romantic getaways in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia. When we launched Secret Box Cabin in 2023, our goal has always been to help you connect intimately with your partner in ways you need or just never explored before. As a couple with 20+ years of marriage, we understand that work, children, and life can sometimes make it impossible to be truly connect. We did our best to find you secluded getaways with privacy, views and a stay that feels authentically romantic. Finding true privacy for a couples’ getaway is rare these days. That is exactly why Matt and I carefully handpicked each Secret Box Cabin location.
The Secret Room (Clayton, GA): Perched high on a mountain at an elevation of over 2,000 feet, this is our most peaceful and quiet escape. Tucked away on just over half an acre, the cabin is completely enveloped by a dense canopy of forest trees and lush shrubs. Here, you can soak in your private hot tub and enjoy uninterrupted, year-round views of Rabun County’s highest peaks.
The Secret Playhouse (Blue Ridge, GA): Situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with a long, private driveway, this cabin offers stunning mountain vistas. Nestled on 1.67 acres of land, it features complete privacy on both sides, making it the ultimate secluded retreat.
The Secret Chamber (Blue Ridge, GA): Designed in the style of a private French country estate, our newest location sits on over 5 sprawling acres. It boasts a private pond, a neoclassical gazebo tucked inside a French garden, and a spacious 16×24 pergola sheltering a private hot tub. Accessible via a country road, the property is secured by a 10-foot privacy fence and elegant entry gates. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with flowering trees and year-round evergreens to create a cocooned, botanical garden atmosphere — an intimate venue to elope, get engaged, or celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary.
Consider it a very Fifty Shades experience, but customized entirely to your comfort level; we feature varying degrees of play to match your exact pace, while always embracing the belief that the truest passion and heightened intimacy are always rooted in romance. Our romantic getaways are thoughtfully curated for open-minded couples who love to explore new depths of their relationship in complete discretion. We offer a beautifully designed, premium space to bring your deepest desires to life — blending passion, luxury, and impeccable style.

A gradual, thoughtful design: If this is your first time exploring this side of your intimacy, there is absolutely no need to feel intimidated. Our spaces are intentionally designed to let you gradually expand your experience at your own pace. You can keep things beautifully mild, elegantly wild, or anywhere in between.
The perfect blend: We seamlessly weave the thrill of a Fifty Shades adventure with the upscale luxury of a private boutique estate. It is an approachable, safe, and deeply romantic environment built for open-minded couples who value both high-end discretion and passionate exploration.
There is no additional fee. All the activities are included in your stay.
Each secret box is an intimate exploration for both of you. We suggest you start with our mild box and gradually move up to medium and spicy. Our cabins are configured differently for each level. No two are the same.
You have access to all of the boxes. Do one or do all of them — it’s up to you.
We use commercial brand sanitizing products and employ a 3-point process to ensure your environment is clean, which also includes a UV light inspection. Not exclusive to just our secret chests and rooms; the entire home is sanitized at every clean. Your satisfaction is our reward and we take great care to provide you with a clean and enjoyable stay. We do not have nor do we provide personal reusable items.
Uncovering the Secret Boxes, of course! Seriously though, the North Georgia mountains are filled with so many activities that most of our guests rarely get to do everything on their wish list. We’re surrounded by many national parks, hiking, wineries and fine dining. Visit our local guidebooks under each cabin page for suggestions on restaurants, sightseeing and shopping.
Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. Due to a full schedule, we don’t currently offer early or late departures unless expressly communicated by the hosts.
All of our properties feature a seamless, remote check-in process, allowing you to arrive at your convenience anytime after 4:00 PM on the day of your stay.
To ensure you have everything you need for a perfect arrival, you will receive an email and text message 48 hours prior to your scheduled stay. This will include:

Our hidden sanctuaries are intentionally designed exclusively for two guests only.
We passionately believe that the most meaningful, long-lasting relationships thrive when a couple can truly shut out the rest of the world. Because of this philosophy, our spaces are strictly curated to honor one couple at a time — giving you the absolute privacy, zero distractions, and dedicated space needed to focus entirely on each other.
Our nightly minimum stay is 2 nights. On occasion, and where possible, we consider a 1-night stay on a case-by-case basis. Reach out directly with a request.
Guests must be 21 years and older to book.
We know that plans can change, and we always aim to be as flexible as possible while ensuring our hidden sanctuaries remain ready for exclusive escapes.
Full refund window: You will receive a full refund (minus a 4% credit card transaction fee) if you cancel your reservation at least 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival.
Within 30 days: Because we hold these dates exclusively for you, all payments become non-refundable within 30 days of your scheduled arrival.
Our peace-of-mind commitment: If something unexpected comes up and you do need to cancel within the 30-day window, please let us know right away. We will make every effort to re-book your dates. If we successfully secure a new guest for those exact dates, we will happily refund your payments, minus a 25% fee.
Rescheduling & trip protection:
If you need to change your reservation prior to the 30-day window, simply contact us and we will gladly help you reschedule.
We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance for your ultimate peace of mind and protection.
Changing your reservation after your 30-day arrival window is subject to circumstance and our approval.
A standard sedan or compact car will easily get you to all of our properties under normal conditions. However, we 100% recommend an SUV during inclement weather, such as snow.
The Secret Chamber: You do not need an SUV to access this property. The access road is completely paved with asphalt and concrete. (An SUV is still recommended during snowy weather.)
The Secret Room & The Secret Playhouse: If you are staying at either of these cabins and are unfamiliar or uncomfortable driving on mountain terrain, we highly recommend an SUV. While both properties are located just a few minutes from downtown, you will encounter gravel mountain roads as you near the cabins.
No. To maintain the pristine condition of our spaces and ensure a flawless experience for every couple, we have a strict no-pet policy. Our hidden sanctuaries are designed exclusively as intimate, allergen-free escapes for two humans at a time.
The closest major airports for both our Blue Ridge and Clayton cabins are Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA). Driving time is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours from either airport, depending on your specific cabin location.
For Clayton guests: The Georgia Shuttle offers service that picks up from the Atlanta airport. However, we still highly recommend renting a car. The shuttle will not drop you off directly at the cabin, and you will absolutely want a vehicle to explore town, dine out, and shop for groceries.
For Blue Ridge guests: There is no public transportation or shuttle service available to this area. A rental car is required to reach the cabin and navigate the town comfortably.
